How I work

You bring what's been happening. I guide the work around it.

My approach combines conversation, hypnotherapy and noticing sensations in your body. You don't need to choose a technique before you begin.

How the work unfolds

  1. 01

    Your consultation

20 minutes online. I ask about your circumstances and any current treatment, and recommend a way forward. No hypnosis, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Your first session

75 to 90 minutes for a detailed intake, an agreed focus and your first experience of hypnosis.

  3. 03

    Your session plan

Follow up sessions are usually 60 minutes. I explain the schedule and fees before you book.

  4. 04

    Between sessions

Bring what you notice, including what still feels difficult. Sometimes I'll suggest a simple practice.

  5. 05

    Reviewing your progress

We revisit the focus and decide whether to continue, adjust the plan or bring sessions to a close.

You can choose to stop at any time. There's no fixed number of appointments that guarantees a particular result.

What is integrated hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses guided attention and hypnosis to explore experiences connected to the concern you bring.

You might notice thoughts, feelings, images, memories or physical sensations. There is no particular experience you need to produce.

"Integrated" means I draw on different approaches within the same plan, rather than asking you to book a separate technique for each concern.

What happens during hypnosis?

I guide your attention through spoken suggestions. You remain able to speak, ask questions and stop.

You might feel relaxed, absorbed, or aware of things you'd usually overlook. You don't need to empty your mind or visualise clearly. Imagery or impressions are not treated as proof that an event occurred.

Approaches I draw from

  1. Conversation and reflection

To understand your concern, set our focus and connect sessions with daily life.

  2. Somatic awareness

Noticing tension, heaviness, warmth or breathing, and how they relate to what you're experiencing.

  3. EFT tapping

Attention to a thought or feeling while tapping points on the face and upper body.

  4. Chakra awareness

An optional energy framework rooted in Indian traditions. Never used to diagnose.

  5. Regression work

Exploring memories or imagery connected to a present concern, explained before we begin.

Your participation

I lead the process and explain the work as we go.

Your role is to describe what you notice, including when something feels unclear, uncomfortable or unhelpful. You can ask questions, decline a technique, or pause a session.

Questions about the approach

Do I need to choose a method before booking?

No. Begin with the concern you want help with. I recommend the approach and guide the sessions.

Will every session include hypnosis?

No. The approaches used depend on the agreed focus and what emerges during the work.

What if I find it difficult to relax or picture things?

Tell me what you're experiencing. People respond differently to guidance, and vivid imagery is not a requirement.

Will I have to share something private?

You can tell me when there is something you don't want to discuss. I'll explain what information is needed to work responsibly with your concern.

Do I need to include energy based practices?

No. You can work with me without including chakra based or other energy practices.

What if I don't notice a change?

Bring that into the session. I'll review the focus and approach with you, including whether to adjust the plan or recommend another source of support.

Can I attend while receiving other treatment?

We'll discuss your current treatment, medication and care plan during the consultation. If working together is appropriate alongside that care, we can proceed. If another form of support would suit you better, I'll recommend a way forward. Do not stop or change prescribed treatment because you are attending these sessions.

Begin with what's happening now.

You don't need a technique in mind. Tell me what you'd like help with, and I'll guide you through the next steps.
